Laura W.
Laura has been in the beauty industry for 11 years. After completing her bachelor’s degree and working in the corporate world, she decided to pursue her passion and enroll in the Northwest Hair Academy in Everett. Laura has spent many years working as a bridal artist – and is rated among the Top Ten Bridal Hair/Makeup Artists in Seattle according to Wedding Rule. Her work has been featured in various publications – she’s even done hair and makeup for a movie filmed on Whidbey Island. Bristle and Strand is the second successful salon that Laura has owned. Laura enjoys reading, taking classes and snuggling with her dog, Woodrow Wilson.

Megan B.
Megan has been in the beauty industry since she was 15 years old. She started as a receptionist at a small salon in Mill Creek, WA and then attended Gene Juarez Academy in Seattle right after graduating high school. After 15 years of managing and working in several salons, she now co-owns and works at Bristle & Strand Salon and Drybar. Megan lives in Marysville with her husband, Tracy and son, Cam and their miniature dachshund, Remy. She enjoys horseback trail riding, reading Stephen King novels, and spending time with her large family.

Amanda graduated from Paul Mitchell Cosmetology School 12 years ago, where she fell in love with making clients feel beautiful, playing with colors and styling, especially. She has professionally styled hair for dance competitions, fashion shows, and photoshoots. After a recent move from Las Vegas, she is laying down roots in Bothell, and at Bristle and Strand. When she's not behind the chair, you can find her with her husband looking for the next best trail or restaurant- be sure to let her know your favorites! She has a passion for fashion and loves expressing it with her hair and personal style.

Victoria graduated in 2018 from Gary Manuel Institute. She has been working in salons for 3 years with a strong passion for cuts, colors, and blow outs. She enjoys working with a diverse set of clients to find and create what best suits their desires and needs. Ranging from dark blunt bobs to sun kissed balayage all the way to vibrant bold colors with under cuts – she’s your girl. She spends most of her time outside of the salon snuggled up with her fur babies watching movies or on the trails in the forest.

Juliet is a fresh face in the hair scene coming from Evergreen Beauty College. After dedicating 10 years to being a childcare provider she decided to delve into her creative side and start her journey in Cosmetology. She has had a passion for hair since she was a young girl and loves all aspects of it! Whether it’s blowouts, cuts or color- she is eager to make you feel your best self and give you a warm experience at Bristle & Strand. Outside of work, you can find Juliet antiquing, thrifting and exploring the PNW.

Shari S.
Shari comes to Bristle and Strand with over 30 years of experience in the hair industry. She studied cosmetology at Gene Juarez Academy and from there did an apprenticeship program at Coupe Rokei in Seattle. Since then, she has worked in various salons. After 8 years of co-owning a salon, Shari is looking forward to devoting all her time to her customers. One of the things she loves about her job is the ability to get to know her people on a deeper level. She says, “It’s like I get to go to work and see my friends every day!” She loves that the hair industry is ever changing, which means as a stylist she is constantly learning and growing. Shari prides herself on her attention to detail; and she really listens to her customers so she can provide them with a great service every time.
